This image is of my cousin, Katy. She lives in England, and this year I was able to visit her for the first time in three years. She means a lot to me, she is very happy and friendly and can always make you smile. She makes me laugh, and is a lot of fun to be around. When I am able to see her, it means a lot to me. The pictures were taken in two different environments. The first one was taken in Poland, where we are from, and my sister was doing her hair. This is important because she is our little cousin, and if we were able to visit her often, those are the things we would do with her. I took it from above to show that she is young, and focused on her eyes. The second photo was taken after we baked brownies together. I put the brownies in front, and had her stand behind them to display how enormous and exciting the brownies were to her. The photos were difficult to take as she is young and does not like to stay still for long. The brownies act as leading lines towards her face, and help highlight her as the main focus of the image. The lighting is good in both images, as there was a lot of natural light coming through to help light up her face. In the second image, I used to rule of thirds to pinpoint her, as she is on a third. The background is blurred in both to make Katy pop, and the rest of the background to be less noisy.
